Bubl started with our founder’s love for fine food and shared experiences. Justin Peckerofsky, cut his professional teeth in the hospitality world, falling in love with restaurants where people from all walks of life came together over great food, good drinks, and enjoyable moments worth remembering.
As he followed a career path into the world of wine and spirits sales, Justin recognized an opportunity that quickly became a passion project: creating the perfect cocktail shot.
Fun matters as much as flavor.
Inspiration struck while Justin was sipping a boba drink on a Jamaican vacation. As those poppable pearls delivered a surprise with every sip, they sparked a bigger idea: if a small pop could elevate a drink, a bigger pop could turn it into a drink experience that people simply have to share.
That idea became the inspiration for Bubl Cocktail Shots.
New ideas attract serious skeptics.
Like any good success story, Bubl faced an uphill climb. Ours came in the form of 17 highly qualified food scientists telling us that our big idea—a cocktail shot wrapped in an edible bubble that bursts with light pressure—couldn’t be done at scale. Thankfully, we asked an 18th expert who had a knack for proving people wrong.
Partnership made it pop.
When he first saw the project, Jack Parker of Parker Development, Inc. (PDi) knew he could help turn Justin’s breakthrough idea into a reality at scale. Working alongside partners Dan Meehan and Chris Criswell, he found a way to bring Bubl Shots to market.
By obsessing over every detail, from color stability and flavor testing to shelf-life studies, the team transformed Bubl’s original concept into an experience unlike anything else in the alcohol space.
Together, we built an all-new production process that consistently delivers bar-worthy flavors and the iconic pop that sets Bubl apart.
